The Azalea's Willow; Episode 1

Enjoy this new story everyone!

"I know right! I can't believe that we have to-" Lyla was cut short as the bedroom door opened.

"Auntie Victoria, what is it?" She asked. The older woman stuttered as she tried to start her sentence. "What is it Mrs. Reins?" Lyla's best friend Emmy asked.

"This girl was outside asking for you Lyla." Mrs. Reins explained. Lyla stood up and approached the little girl.

The queer little thing held out a folded up letter with the name 'Lyla Bennsley' written on it. 

Lyla cautiously stared into the girls eyes and accepted the paper. Emmy stood up and payed close attention as Lyla unfolded the letter and began to read it aloud. 

"Dear Lyla Bennsley, we are happy to inform you that your younger sister, Azalea Crier, has been approved to live with you. All of her (Azalea's) information is included on the rest of the page."

Lyla folded the paper back up again.

"I'm sorry, Azalea, you have the wrong person, I don't have a sister." She said with a slight sharp sound to her voice.

"No. You are my sister." Azalea said in an adorably angry voice.


"Give me that!" Mrs. Reins said and snatched the paper out of Lyla's hand.


She sat down and read the letter, and then all of Azalea's information.

She stared back and forth at Lyla and Azalea. "I don't believe it, she is your sister, Lyla." She said with still what was a tinge of disbelief.

Lyla sat down in shock, this couldn't be.

"Lyla! You never mentioned having a little sister!" Emmy cried out. 

"That's because I don't! My mom died three weeks before this girl was born, and my dad six months before that! You know what happened to them! 

She is not my sister." Lyla ranted.

Azalea took off her weird hat, "Do you have any snacks?" She asked. "I'll help you in a bit Azalea!" Mrs. Reins answered.

"Okay! I'll just read this book!" She replied and sat down with a book off of Lyla's shelf.

Emmy, Mrs. Reins, and Lyla debated and talked and thought up theories about Azalea until finally Lyla gave a large sigh and leaned back against the rail of the bed in despair. 

"There's just one problem," She said and held up the letter, "This all makes sense."

"You can't be serious Lyla! When something makes clear sense to you, it means you are serious!" Emmy said waving her hands about as she did. Mrs. Reins nodded in agreement with Emmy, this was one hectic day.

"Just as planned, Azalea is getting herself a home." The girl said as she watched through the window.
