A new type of Photo Style

Hi, Abbie here. I know, this is my dolls blog. But I would like to show you a new type of Photo styling I've been doing. I use the dolls that look the most alike and make them older and younger versions of one or the other. I will even include what the dolls said about it, and some facts about the shoot.

This is 'Elizabeth' at age 10.

This is Elizabeth at age 24. She is now a professional business woman. Through the years she has kept some things, like sequins and gold barrettes.

Rebecca at age 12.

Rebecca's love for vintage fashions as a child, helps her now at age 28. She now runs a Vintage Fashions magazine and clothing line!

Astrid at age 9.

Astrid at age 23. Astrid was an amazing athlete, but as her skin darkened and her hair lightened she became beautiful, and is now a Natural Model, she models without any makeup and little to no clothing.

I thought it would be amazing seeing what some of my girls would look like as adults. And having similar looking dolls made it easy and fun! Now for some facts and then what the dolls had to say about this project.

1. I photographed this with only fifteen minutes of sunlight left. You can watch the sun go down through my photos.

2. I took only two photo's of Samantha when doing Astrid's age 9 photos.

3. I'm about 72% sure there is no such thing as an all Natural Model.

4. Getting the angles and looks of each dolls took more time then you would expect. Which is why I don't have a lot of photo's of some dolls. ;)

Now, for the dolls to talk about what it was like doing this project.

A = Astrid
R = Rebecca
C = Charlie
S = Samantha
E = Elizabeth
K = Kirsten

C: I was pulled out of college over the weekend and on Monday so I could be here, though it was worth it.

S: It was interesting, portraying the younger version of Astrid. I was almost going to have a from the behind photo, because our faces don't look very alike.

A: I had fun, but my job at the age of 23... I don't think I want to be a model, I mean, modeling yes, but wearing no clothing and modeling? Uh, no.

R: I thought this was interesting, Charlie portraying older me. Mom was careful to give some similar things, like giving that one curl down the front like I have.

E: Me at age 10..... That is almost correct, I'm just different like that.

K: It was so weird, portraying my big sister at the age of 10.

S: Try portraying Astrid at 9, we are so different. At least you knew Elizabeth well before now.

K: Very true,

C: I felt so awkward doing this photo shoot, but seeing the results, amazing.

A: Very true,

R: I love it. A lot.

Rebecca's Spring Weather Photo's!

R = Rebecca

R: So today mom decided that it would be a great day for photo's! Beautiful weather, a nice breeze, flowers blooming!

 None of these photo's have been edited! So gorgeous!

Those iris's are such a pretty color.

 I love this photo!

 And this one to!

 Flowers again!

 Another iris!

It smelled good to!

Close up time!

This is my most favorite photo out of the entire thing. So dreamy, and with no editing! I just love the way it looks, though my right eye looks a little bit off.

The lighting, and my curls, and, so pretty!

Photo bomb chicken!

Ehhh, not as nice as the others.

Handstand!

Nice and pretty.

Mom took a picture of the sun streaming through the trees, it gave off this beautiful red glow. Sigh. So peaceful.

Well, that is all the photo's! (Well, not ALL, if I included every picture taken this would be SUPER photo heavy!)

Bye until we post again eventually!
