Astrid Roughs It Out Adventuring.

A = Astrid,

A: I went camping a few days ago, I wanted to get a hint of my past, embrace the viking part of me... So, I borrowed Rebecca's horse, packed up some blankets and food and left for around a day-ish.

Here is Shadow and I, outside on our way to, well, wherever.

I'm thinking around here is a pretty good area.

Yup. Right here.

I dismount and remove Shadow's saddle and release her out to wherever she wishes to go.

I built my bed, it has an air whole from the stick used as a prop, and the top of the "tent" falls on top of me, forming my enclosed blanket.

I gather some large, LARGE, rocks and set them down carefully, so that they form a table and a chair.

I reach into my bag and pull out my dinner, a hearty bread designed to keep you full.

I look up and notice it is slowly getting dark out. I put on my bandanna for warmth, clean up from supper and go to bed. I fall asleep to the sound of crickets and coyotes howling all around the valley.

The next morning I wake up, it is early and I need a head start if I want to get home before dark.

I get out of bed and eat breakfast, the same bread as last night. And then I call for Shadow.

Luckily, she came back from wherever, because even though I am tough and athletic, trekking through the woods in search of Rebecca's horse doesn't sound fun. That girl is scary when she is mad... Just ask Lewis.

I pack up, but it feels warm out, so before I place my bag on top of the stack, I remove my vest and bandanna.

And put on a headband to keep my hair out of my face.

I mount Shadow and we start riding.

Before we head completely back though, I want to stop somewhere.

I climb over the stones and get a view of the whole area. It is so beautiful.

Just a glimpse of everything.

We head back, and the other dolls are happy to see us safe from harm. Though we would have been fine even if we were harmed.
